Aftermarket Technology Corp. was formed in 1994 at the direction of Aurora
Capital Group as a vehicle to acquire and consolidate businesses in the fragmented
drivetrain remanufacturing industry. In December 1996, ATC became a public company.
The 1998-2003 years focused on the Company's repositioning with the elimination of non-core business
and company-wide adoption of lean initiatives and development of a culture that is committed to
continuous improvement.
In 2004, a new management team, led by Don Johnson and Todd Peters brought a growth- and customer-oriented
focus to ATC. In March 2005, Aurora Capital sold its ATC holdings in a secondary offering. In 2006, the
Company adopted its first three-year plan for strategic growth and this is our roadmap for the future.
The Company is poised to deliver on growth via existing and new customers, through new products and services coupled with targeted acquisitions.
Watch us grow!
