Department Manager

Description
We are searching for a Department Manager to add to our growing team.  Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Direct and control department operations
  • Strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for department operations
  • Resource allocation including personnel,equipment, and software
  • Process analysis - time and motion, workflow, and resource flow
  • Create measures and controls to ensure that performance standards, contract compliance and goals are met
  • Adaptation of processes to absorb new business
  • Revenue growth through added-value/billable process creation
  • Cost control and analysis
  • Staff development planning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Communication and planning with employees, customers, vendors, and executive management
  • Contribute to company overall strategies and goals, training program, succession planning and staff career path planning
  • Production planning
  • Raw materials planning
  • New product introduction process management
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors Degree - Business, logistics, accounting, engineering, or related field strongly preferred
  • 3+ years Supervision experience of 30 or more employees
  • Strong analytical and financial skills to include 3+ P&L experience
  • 5+ years direct customer contact experience
  • Advanced level Excel, Word, and Powerpoint skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Oral and written English fluency a must
