1st Shift Operations Supervisor, Cell Phone Test & Repair

We are searching for a 1st Shift Operations Supervisor, Cell Phone Test & Repair to add to our growing team.  Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Responsibility for all daily, weekly, and monthly production activities within test and repair department
  • Meet and exceed all established KPI's and SLA's as dictated by the company and the customer
  • Lead and motivate team members to meet or exceed production expectation on daily basis
  • Identify leaders among team members and develop associates for growth opportunities utilizing the Succession Planning Program
  • Managing employee issues, concerns, and productivity
  • Recognize employee performance; provide an environment promoting involvement and a method of tracking results
  • Establishing a pattern of continuous improvement and working within accepted quality guidelines to achieve goals
  • Assist in managing department workforce, reinforce company policy and procedure, and establish and maintain healthy working relationships across the organization
  • Work in a fast paced environment handling multiple tasks with complex deadlines
  • Facilitate effective Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis as needed
  • Verify and approve employee time/payroll information and authorize overtime
  • Contribute to the companies overall strategies and goals
  • Show initiative and make suggestions for improving processes
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and employees
  • Initiate team building exercises to promote growth and company improvement

Industrial Engineer

Responsible for driving process improvements and performing traditional Industrial Engineering tasks including:  process mapping, time studies, line balancing, utilizing lean concepts, demand planning, process modeling, slotting, analysis and design.  Other duties include specification and selection of material handling equipment, project management, and supporting new business introductions.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Process analysis - value stream mapping, time and motion studies, methods analysis, workflow, resource flow
  • Develop, justify, recommend, and implement process improvements
  • Project management (on-time, within budget, communication)
  • Redesign and implement new processes and layouts
  • Maintain and update AutoCAD layouts for supported operations
  • Perform capacity analysis
  • Perform "what-if" scenario support
  • Specification and selectrion of material handling equipment
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Communication and planning with employees, customer, vendors, and executive management
  • Contribute to department and company overall stategies and goals

Electrical Engineer (RF Test)

Responsible for managing technical support associate within the test and repair department.  Also, maintains computing environment by providing onsite hardware and software system support; identifying system improvements; upgrading, installing, and configuring systems; monitoring system performance by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods.  This person will also be responsible for developing/writing RF Scripts.

  • Design and implement test and calibration equipment and procedures for new products
  • Design and implement improved methods and procedures for testing and calibrating existing products
  • Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment in the event of failure
  • Continuous improvment of quality, cycle time, and reliability of production equipment through hardware and/or software modifications
  • Quality evaluation of product produced on production equipment
  • Design, impementation, and documentation of new production test equipment as needed
